The Department of Physics, SreeNarayana College, Chengannur was established in the year 1981. The department was upgraded in 2001 by starting B.Sc. Physics and M.Sc. Physics in 2013. The department has a team of dedicated and passionate faculty members, who are always available to support and guide their students. The department also has a full-fledged laboratory which allows students to engage in hands-on learning and experimentation.The elective paper for core is "Nanoscience and Technology". The open course offered by the department is "Energy Physics" for students from other majors.
