The Women’s Study Unit aims at the empowerment and holistic well-being of lady students in a world which poses a multitude of challenges to them. WSU prioritizes the health and safety of lady students, teaching them practical
life skills and social responsibility, so that they can evolve into confident, self-sufficient citizens who are a credit to their community and the nation. The college seeks to enhance the general visibility of women and ponder of gender issues within the academic and local communities
through numerous programmes that delve on the issues faced by women to expedite awareness-building. Gender Sensitization Programmes and Awareness Sessions for students, teachers, parents and community are also in
focus to create a platform for sensitizing the public.
