For strengthening the environment commitment of students, The Directorate of Environment and Climate Change (DoECC) has launched Bhoomithra Sena Clubs in the colleges. The aim of Bhoomithra Sena Club is to take up environmental protection activities and encouraging the students to interfere the environmental issues for sustainable life.Objectives
? To encourage the students to appreciate environment and environmental issues of the locality

• To organize various programmes like seminars, debates, popular talks, poster making, quiz, nature camps etc. on environmental issues
• To observe environmentally significant days
• To motivate the students to plant more trees
• To encourage students in waste management
• To make students practice and advocates sustainable lifestyles
• To improve the overall environmental quality of the institution
