IQAC, Sree Narayana College Chengannur

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sree Narayana College Chengannur was established on 2012. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell plays a vital role in maintaining quality of the academic, extra-curricular and administrative aspects of the college. The IQAC provides great support in the process of decision-making and implementation of quality enhancement policies at the college. Frequent meetings and interactive sessions were organized by IQAC to sustain an effective teaching-learning ambience at the college. Moreover, the IQAC encourages faculty members to involve in various club activities and Forums. The IQAC also conducts feedback analysis to maintain a healthy atmosphere in the institution.

Objectives

• The IQAC stays up-to-date of the various developments in the higher education sector and circulates, the UGC and NAAC guidelines to the students and faculty members of the college.
• IQAC facilitates a learner-centric atmosphere in the college which use various innovative and participatory teaching as well as learning techniques.
• The IQAC provides support for organizing various academic and extracurricular activities by clubs and departments.
• IQAC ensures the consolidation of documents of all the academic and administrative set up of the college.
• Academic and administrative audit is conducted yearly.
• IQAC encourages students and faculties to follow green protocol at the campus
• IQAC has made great strides in improving the ICT and IT facilities in the college
• The IQAC prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as well as Self Study Report
• The IQAC assists the process of application for National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
• Organise workshops/training programmes for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff.
• IQAC facilitates various aspects related to the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) of the teaching and non-teaching staff

  As per  the decisions of college council meeting held on 13/09/2023, presided by the Principal-in-Charge, Dr. Shereen K, the IQAC of Sree Narayana College for the year 2023-24 has been reconstituted with effect from 13/09/2023 and the list of new IQAC members is as follows:
